Leonard Jahad

Executive Director

"I wanted to be a part of CTVIP because although I've been working with troubled youth for years, I wanted to start a program that wasn't based on current best practices but those that we knew were effective locally. I wanted to recruit and train the most passionate staff and make change on the most vulnerable population, our disengaged youth."

Jillayne Santiago

Violence Prevention Professional

"As a single mother that was a troubled teen, had a mentor that helped her change her way of thinking and resorting to violence. Also being a victim of young violence what more than an opportunity to share my story and help the community and out kids with the current violence we are experiencing in our communities.  I have always wanted the chance to do what was done for me, and what better opportunity to give back than joining this wonderful team."

Pepe Vega

Violence Prevention Professional

"I do this work because, I want to be a living example for the youth, who I see so much of myself inside. I want to give them options I never had. Most of all, I want them to know, violence is never the answer. I always tell them, if a person chooses to pick up a gun, they have ran out of options. I plan to put those options on the table."
